Hench Marketing ("we", "us", or "our") operates analytics and social media management tools including PERSONA and Hey Susan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

When you connect a social media account to our services, we collect and store:

  • —OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens issued by the connected platform (X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
  • —Public profile data: display name, username, follower/subscriber counts, profile images
  • —Content analytics: post impressions, likes, comments, shares, views — as made available by each platform's API
  • —Audience and engagement metrics tied to your account
  • —Account credentials for our platform (hashed password or token-based authentication)

We do not collect payment information, private messages, follower identity data, or any data not explicitly listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely to:

  • —Display your analytics and performance data within your personal dashboard
  • —Refresh OAuth tokens to maintain an active connection to connected platforms
  • —Generate insights, trend analysis, and strategy recommendations based on your own content
  • —Provide campaign tracking and goal management features

We do not sell, share, or monetise your data. We do not use your data to train machine learning models. We do not share your data with third parties except the platform APIs necessary to fetch your analytics.

We access platform data using official APIs and OAuth 2.0 authorisation. You can revoke our access at any time via each platform's app settings or by disconnecting within our dashboard.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. OAuth tokens are stored in an isolated database accessible only to the services necessary to fetch your analytics. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. We do not retain your data after account deletion.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • —Request correction of inaccurate data
  • —Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • —Revoke platform OAuth access at any time, via your platform account settings or our dashboard
  • —Withdraw consent to data processing (note: this will prevent the service from functioning)

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal cookies required for authentication (storing your session token in localStorage). We do not use third-party tracking, advertising cookies, or analytics services that collect personal data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove all associated data within 30 days. OAuth tokens are invalidated and deleted upon disconnection or account deletion.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
